Metallica or Black Sabbath?

Metallica or Black Sabbath? The question stands still to the end of time. There is no argument on what band is better. Both are extremely talented bands. Both have the capability of making their music last until the sands of time. The length of both bands' albums is lengthy and bold. Each band has an originality basis overriding negative critic and blasphemous statements about both bands. And both bands are not unheard of being their popularity is immense. The answer is up to you!

The way we see it, Black Sabbath is the very first metal band. Originating in 1968 in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Black Sabbath drops the unique and first-ever hard rock sound to the globe. With Tony Iommi as the band's songwriter and guitarist, Geezer Butler on bass, Bill Ward on drums and Ozzy Osbourne on the vocals, Black Sabbath took off with their popularity of, "Black Sabbath", "Paranoid", and "Master of Reality". The band has since changed the line up numerous amounts of time. Whoever said Black Sabbath isn't the original founder of metal is quite the chap; nicely put.

Metallica is a great band and releases fire material- besides Saint Anger. I'm only kidding. The band releases hit after hit, all the time, even came out with a new album last summer; "Hardwired to Self-Destruct". It's a pretty thrashy and pumping album. Who's to say it's not a good album? Its better than Saint Anger! Metallica one of the founders of thrash, along with Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer. Hits like "Fade to Black", "The Unforgiven", "Master of Puppets", "One", "Battery", "Kill Em All", "Enter Sandman", "Nothing Else Matters" and so on are all masterpieces and greatly well-written songs. Metallica is up there with the best metal band of all time.

The argument is not what band is better, more so or less which band you prefer the most of. Metallica has written a dozen hits while Black Sabbath has a number 4 Hit on UK's top 20 Charts.  Ask a musician if they like Black Sabbath and tell me they do not say, "aw yeah!". There is no lie here. Ask a Metallica fan what their favorite album is and they'll either say, "Black", "Ride the Lightning", or "And Justice for All". It's just the way it goes.

Is your preference for Metallica or Black Sabbath? The choice is yours. I want you to ask yourself why. Is it because of preference? Or is it because you like the one instead of the other? Do you like both bands and somewhat more of the other? Whichever band is your forte, is your forte. There is no comparison. Ask yourself that. The answer is up to you!
